Remember that the access to and use of any services provided by Yelco and, the sale of products to you, are subject to the conditions set out on this page and based on the assumption that these GTC have been read, understood, and accepted by you.

This Website is operated and maintained by Yelco Technologies S.A., a company registered in Portugal at Lisbon Commercial Registry Office, with VAT registration number PT513224955. Our registered office is located at Parque Empresarial de Proença-a-Nova Lote Nº1, Parcela P0, Fração H, PEPA, 6150-579 Proença-a-Nova, Castelo Branco, Portugal.

1. General Provisions
The following General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) set out the legal terms that apply to your use of the website and the services that we provide, as well as the legal terms that apply to all contracts concluded between you as a customer and Yelco via Yelco Fiber Optics online shop. Any supplementary conditions or deviations to these GTC are not accepted unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.
Yelco Fiber Optics online shop offers are directed to entrepreneurs/companies. By entrepreneur or company we mean a natural person and legal entity or partnership with legal capacity, who is entering into business relations with Yelco for purposes related to his or her trade, business, or profession.
2. Conclusion of the Contract
When you place an order, you are offering to conclude the contract for the ordered product(s). Therefore, when the customer clicks ‘Complete order’ at checkout final step, he is accepting the offer of the goods displayed in the order overview (binding offer) and will receive an ‘Order receipt confirmation email’.
The contract of sale between the parties (buyer and seller) for the ordered product(s) is only concluded once we accept your order by means of order confirmation or once we dispatch the goods, with which the contract of sale between the parties is fulfilled and the buyer receives a ‘Shipping Confirmation Email’.
Yelco Fiber Optics online shop offers products exclusively made to order, which can be customized according to customer requirements. Therefore, once the order enters the processing status it cannot be changed or canceled. In exceptional cases and, without the respective right to be granted, the order information can be corrected, if the customer has informed our team by email without undue delay after receipt of the ‘Order receipt confirmation email’ and we have confirmed the respective correction to the customer.
Please understand, that the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or which are clearly personalized. By placing an order, you are confirming the accuracy and veracity of all the details you provide us with, such as, contact information, billing and shipping information and payment information. You also need to ensure that you have selected the correct products and quantities. During the checkout process you will have the chance to identify and correct input errors prior to placing the order, so please make sure you allow time to carefully check each checkout step before you submit your order.
3. Payment Terms
Payment of the goods is due immediately after placing the order.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), processed by Stripe
- Multibanco (payment from customers in Portugal),
- MBWay (payment from customers in Portugal),
- Bank Transfer
Credit Card
If you choose to pay using a credit card, you need to provide your card details at checkout, for security, yelcofiberoptics.tech will not save any of your card data. Please note that our payment processors, Stripe, will carry out a standard preauthorization check on your payment card on behalf of Yelco. After this verification, the payment transaction is initiate immediately and automatically by the credit card company, the amount will be deducted, and your order accepted. If we are unable to obtain authorization for your payment, your order will be cancelled.
Multibanco
If you choose to pay by Multibanco the payment must be done outside our checkout flow (payment delayed). Please note that your order payment status is initially set to pending and will remain as so until we receive the transferred of funds in our Bank Account. This may take as little as a few minutes or at most seven (7) days depending on when you initiate the transfer of funds. If we have not received your payment after seven (7) days, your order will be cancelled. Whenever you use Multibanco, your payment details, reference and entity numbers will be provided to you within the checkout process and will also be included in your order receipt confirmation email. This type of payment methos is only available for orders placed in Portugal.
MBWay
If you choose to pay by MBWay the payment must be done using your mobile phone (payment delayed). Please note that your order payment status is initially set to pending and will remain as so until we receive the transferred of funds in our Bank Account. Whenever you use MBWay, you will have few minutes to proceed with the payment, If you do not pay on time, your order will be cancelled. This type of payment methos is only available for orders placed in Portugal.
Bank Transfer
Whenever you use Bank Transfer, the payment is also done outside our checkout flow. Our bank account details, IBAN and SWIFT/BIC, will be provided to you on the checkout page and will also be included in your order receipt confirmation email, for you to complete payment in bank. Yelco Finance Department perform regularly checks of the payable amount and will update the order payment status as soon as we confirm the amount in our bank account. If you prefer you can also send the payment receipt issued by your bank and email it to our team for a quicker response or upload it directly on thwe website inside the correspondent order.
4. Products, Prices and Ordering
You can place an order on gwfiberoptics.com only as a registered user by creating an account.
Yelco Fiber Optics online shop offers three types of cables, Fiber Optic Pigtails, Fiber Optic Patch Cords and Multifiber Optic Cables. Through the cables configurator available on our online shop, the customer will be able to build his own selected cable and place an order for the customized cable and desired quantity. This is achieved by adding the product to cart and completing the secure checkout process, which is concluded once you click on the “Buy now” button during the last step of the checkout page.
The price for the customize product in the corresponding offer shall be net plus the respective statutory value added tax (the sales of goods will be subject to the tax rate legally applicable in Portugal at the time of your purchase). In addition to the stated product prices, delivery or shipping costs will be charged. When you shop on our online shop, you assume total responsibility for the accuracy and veracity of the information you provide us with, such as personal information, billing and shipping information, and payment details. While in the process of placing an order (“Secure Checkout”), you will be requested to provide that information for relevant steps and places, unless it was already provided during the registration process. The data contained in the invoice are the customer’s responsibility. The invoice once issued cannot be reissued with changes.
The products sold at yelcofiberoptics.tech may be used for commercial, business or re-sale purposes in the ordinary course of business and are intended for use and to remain in the country of delivery agreed with the customer. Exporting of contractual products may require specific documentation and shall be subject to the foreign trade regulations of both, seller, and customer country of delivery. The customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary license from the relevant authorities, before exporting such products. You agree that you will not export, reexport or otherwise transfer the products to countries or territories that are the target of comprehensive embargoes or sanctions or to parties identified on the U.S. Treasury Department’s List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List or the E.U.’s Consolidated Financial Sanctions List.
5. Cancelations
As all products at yelcofiberoptics.tech are exclusively made to order and customized according to customer requirements, orders received shall not be subject to cancellation or modification by customer in whole or in part.
In exceptional cases, without the respective right to be granted and, always before we start processing the order, the order information can be changed, if the customer has informed our team at info@yelcofiberoptics.tech without undue delay after receipt of the ‘Order receipt confirmation email’, and we have given written consent of the respective correction to the customer.
Please understand, that the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or which are clearly personalized.
6. Terms of Delivery
We ship to Portugal, Spain, France, and Germany. All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Odivelas, Portugal. If we currently do not ship to your country, you can contact us at info@yelcofiberoptics.tech for a possible customized solution. Shipping costs are added to the order subtotal and will vary depending on the destination of the ordered products, as well as the actual weight of cargo. The customer shall bear the shipping costs.
The exact shipping cost will be calculated and displayed at checkout page.
Since products will have to be manufactured upon a receipt of order, dispatch times will vary, but, as soon as its processing time is finished, the order is shipped, and you will receive a ‘Shipping Confirmation email’ to keep you updated with tracking information and an estimated date of delivery. You will find the courier Tracking Number inside the email.
To make sure we offer our customers, secure and competitive shipping rates, we work with various carriers in the business. Our orders can be delivered by GLS, DHL, UPS, Fedex/TNT, DPD or Nacex. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, we determine the appropriate mode of shipment and select the carrier which delivers your order.
Picking-up of the goods is not possible as we do not own a physical store.
Orders placed on Yelco Fiber Optics online shop can be delivered from Monday to Friday during business hours. Please find below estimated transit times, please keep in mind that those are based on time from dispatch.

On the delivery of the goods, we shall only be obliged to properly and timely deliver the product to the carrier and shall not be responsible for any delays caused by the carrier.
The damage of goods incurred during transportation and the discover of shorted material, should be notified by the customer directly to us at info@yelcofiberoptics.tech, within seven (7) days after delivery. Claims filed later than seven (7) days after delivery will not be honored.
At Yelco we care about the environment and our packaging is made entirely from recycled or recyclable materials.
7. Retention of Title
The acceptance of an order by Yelco, the seller, implies the following:
- The seller is legally liable to supply you with goods that are in conformity with the contract of sale. Meaning,
- The buyer has the legal title to the product purchased once the respective payment is accepted.
- The delivery service provider is responsible to ensure that the ordered product(s) are delivered to the shipping address indicated while placing the order.
The seller reserves the right to cancel the contract of sale if the product manufacturing is somehow compromised, for lack of payment or if not in accordance with our Terms and Conditions
8. Limited Product Guarantee and Guarantee Claims
8.1 Yelco Tecnologies, S.A. as manufacturer of the products sold on yelcofiberoptics.tech, warrants the customer that the products are, at the time of delivery to customer, free of material and workmanship defects, provided that the manufacturer guarantee will not cover, a) any product failure that, in seller’s judgment, is due to damages caused by you, such as any defect or malfunction caused as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, or use with improper equipment; b) any product which has not, in seller’s judgment, been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with instructions, normal practice and in conformity with published recommendations and specifications, or c) any product which has been altered or tampered with an attempt to repair or used for any other purposes other than that for which the product was designed regardless of whether or not the customer informed the seller of its intent to use those product for those other purposes.
8.2. If the product you bought on yelcofiberoptics.tech turns out to be faulty after delivery and, therefore, in breaching with the foregoing guarantee, we offer you, at our option, free repair, replacement product, or refund the purchase price, within a period of 6 months starting from the date of shipment of the product to the customer.
Any claims due to defects will expire after the statutory limitation period. Please note, replacement units or parts will be warranted for the remaining portion of the original guarantee period.
We retain the right to be the sole judge of what constitutes a defect in performance or manufacturing regarding this guarantee.
8.3. When you make a guarantee claim for a faulty item, you will need to provide your order reference, a dated proof of purchase and, appropriate details about the problem. To do that you need to notify us in writing to info@yelcofiberoptics.tech, within ten (10) days of discovering the defect or any claim that you may have with respect to the product.
Upon receiving your notification claiming a defective product, we may want to inspect such product, therefore, only when we accept your return, you will obtain proper return instructions to send your product back to our warehouse address. Please package your product with care to avoid damage during transportation.
Once the item is received at our warehouse, it will be inspected, and we may offer to repair or replace it. If none of these options are viable, a full refund of the faulty product will be processed by us within 14 days. Please note that customers need to cover the shipping fee to return products to us. However, if after examining the product we agree that it was defective when it was delivered to you, the shipping fee you paid for returning the product will be refundable to you.
8.4. A customer is not entitled to refuse the delivery of a product or products you have ordered as a means of returning it.
9. Limitation of Liability
As owner and operator of yelcofiberoptics.tech, Yelco may at any time carry out updates or make changes to the website or its contents, although we are under no obligation to do so. Consequently, at some point there may be some out-of-date content throughout the website. Please understand that the website content aims only to provide you with general information to enhance your experience. We cannot guarantee that the website content is accurate and complete or error-free at all times. Therefore, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all guarantees, conditions, or other terms which may apply to the website or its content, whether expressly agreed or implied by the courts.

We shall not held responsible for any of the following:
- For losses that were not caused by any breach on our part, and/or
- For any loss or damage arising under or in connection with your inability to use the website or use of or reliance on any content displayed on the website, and/or
- For any loss of business, such as any loss of profit, sales or revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, or wasted expenditure, and/or
- For any loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation or interruption of business, and/or
- For any indirect or consequential loss or damage that were not foreseeable to both parties, you and us, when you started using the website and the services.
- For any loss or damage, you suffer as a result of a delay or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions, if the respective delay or failure arises from any unforeseeable cause which is beyond our reasonable control and not a consequence of our breach of these Terms and Conditions or our negligence, and/or
- For any loss or damage caused by computer viruses, cyber-attacks, or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of the website or to your downloading of any content to it, or to any website linked to it.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes our liability for fraud or fraudulent representations made by us or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or willful misconduct. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the website without notice and, from time to time, we may restrict access to all or parts of the Website. We will not be liable to you if, for any reason, the website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
